In 1973, the drummer of the band released a song he had co-written with his former bandmate, the lead guitarist. It became his biggest solo hit — number one in the US and the UK. Fifty years later, when asked in an interview which of his own songs he loved the most, he didn’t hesitate: Photograph.

The song is about missing someone who is no longer there and being left with only a photograph to remember them by. He was the cheerful one of the group — the one who was always smiling, the one who never took things too seriously. But this song was different. This song was the cheerful one admitting, quietly, that sometimes photographs are all you have left.

About this design: Scattered instant photograph nostalgia collage style.
