The Lonely Hearts Club — Est. 1967 Members Only Rock Tee

In 1967, the band released an album whose concept was simple and brilliant: they weren’t going to be themselves anymore. For the length of one album, they would be someone else entirely — a fictional Edwardian military band made of lonely hearts playing for other lonely hearts.

The idea freed them. Freed from the expectations of being the biggest band in the world, they could make any kind of music they wanted. The album they made that year is still considered one of the greatest records ever recorded, and the fictional band on the cover has a devoted following of its own.

Members only. Not because we want to keep people out. Because membership is earned by loving something.

About this design: Psychedelic military insignia meets exclusive club badge design. Ornate vintage circus and military display font arranged in a circular badge format. “EST. 1967” in a ribbon banner below. “MEMBERS ONLY” in small authoritative text. The circular badge decorated with elaborate psychedelic military elements — ornate braided epaulettes, colorful medal ribbons, crossed drum major batons, trumpet and French horn instruments, stars and laurel wreaths — all in vivid psychedelic colors instead of military drab.
