There’s a particular silence that only exists at 5 AM in an empty club, after the last set of an eight-hour night.

The stage is still warm. The spotlight is still on. The chairs the band just stood in front of sit empty, in a loose semicircle, waiting. There’s a half-empty beer bottle on the edge of the stage. A setlist curling at the corner. The wall clock above shows exactly 5:00. The audience left hours ago. The band left minutes ago. And the room is thinking about what just happened.

This is the Hamburg they never write about in the biographies. Not the fame. Not the hysteria. The silence after.

About this design: A warm amber spotlight pools over four empty wooden chairs on a tiny nightclub stage. The rest of the club is pure black shadow. A wall clock barely visible in the darkness shows 5 AM. Half-empty beer bottles catch the light. The absence of people is the whole point.

For the ones who understand that the best stories happen after everyone else has gone home.
