A Georgian black front door with a brass knocker and a plain white enamel number plate. Red brick walls. A small brass plaque beside the door engraved with the street name. If you walked past it on any ordinary day in 1960, you wouldn’t look twice. But if you walked through that door, down the stone staircase beyond it, and into the basement below — you were standing in the room where the 20th century’s greatest band learned how to be great.

Today, fans from every continent make the pilgrimage to this door.

About this design: A single Georgian black front door, shown straight-on in clean architectural detail. Ornate brass door knocker. White enamel number plate reading 10. Brass letter slot.
