Liverpool isn’t just a city. It’s a port. American cargo ships brought vinyl records that weren’t available anywhere else in England. Liverpool heard America before London did. And when four young men started playing that American sound through British voices, the Mersey Sound was born.
About this design: Liverpool waterfront skyline in bold silhouette — the Liver Building with twin Liver Birds. Behind, a dramatic sunset. The River Mersey rendered as bold lines with sound wave ripples emanating outward. Vintage British travel poster aesthetic.
