Before they were pop stars, they were rebels.
In 1961, they wore black leather motorcycle jackets — Perfecto biker styles, cafe racer cuts, some with silver studs. They looked like a gang. They played like one too. Then a quiet record store owner decided they were going to be the biggest band in the world — but only if they stopped dressing like hoodlums. The leather jackets went into closets. But the leather came first.
About this design: Four distinct black leather jackets hanging in a row on a backstage clothing rail — each slightly different. Dramatic overhead lighting. No faces, no names — just four jackets that remember who wore them.
