In August 1963, a simple three-word chorus changed pop music forever.
German philosopher Theodor Adorno wrote scholarly essays about it. American parents were terrified of it. Teenagers in every country repeated it until their throats were raw. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Three words that carried more cultural weight than entire albums before them.
It’s still the single most recognizable catchphrase in rock history.
About this design: Three words stacked vertically, each one progressively larger and in a different saturated color — YEAH in hot magenta at the top, YEAH in electric yellow in the middle, YEAH in vivid cyan at the bottom. Each word has thick black outline and dramatic comic book drop shadow. Bold radiating black speed lines extend outward like a comic book impact burst. Classic Lichtenstein halftone dots. Pure 1960s joyful explosive energy.
