In 1961, a German photographer cut her boyfriend’s hair in a Parisian art student style. By 1964, American barbershops reported kids asking for “the Beatle cut.” Parents were horrified. It was just a haircut. It was also the most disruptive hairstyle of the 20th century.
About this design: Vintage barbershop sign — ornate barber scissors at center. Dark hair clippings fall downward but transform into musical notes and treble clefs. Red and white barber pole on the left. Style becoming sound.
