From 1963 to 1970, these four musicians repeated one simple word more than any other in their catalog: love. In anthems, in lullabies, in protest songs, in lullabies again. By the end of the decade, they had convinced most of the world that love was — and always would be — all you need.

About this design: Three words on one horizontal line in huge bold retro display typography — LOVE in hot magenta pink, LOVE in electric sunshine yellow with a small red heart dotting the letter O, LOVE in vivid cyan blue. Each with thick black outline and slight drop shadow. Below, in small italic: and everything else is just noise. The single red heart inside the middle LOVE is the only illustrative element. Maximum impact through simplicity.
